Division Transfer

According to the regulation M.3, a member can ask for a division transfer once every 12 months. The transfer is subject to approval by the Membership department of the inbound division. A transfer is not possible if:

  • There was a division transfer in the last year (12 months)
  • The member is suspended
  • The member has a pending exam or training
  • The request isn’t compliant or is not in English

The Czech Division sets the conditions for transfer:

  • ATC rank at least ADC

Process   

Look up active divisions

You can only transfer into an existing active division. You can view the list of active divisions
here.

Request recipients

Send your request via email to the new division HQ and old division HQ on XX-hq@ivao.aero a také YY-hq@ivao.aero.
XX, YY being the division code, found here.

Email copy

Send a copy (CC) to members@ivao.aero. Without sending this copy the request will not be processed.

Email title

Put this exact phrase in the title of the email: Division transfer *VID*

Replace *VID* with your personal VID, e.g. 123456.

Email body

Describe an objective reason why you wish to transfer divisions. The more specifics you mention the faster the whole process.
